Grandad

Recently I drew my Grandad from an old photo my mum had of him.
It was taken soon after he was drafted for the Second World War.
As much as I like the drawing, it's a solemn image and one which I found difficult to finish.

Tote bags

I'm thinking about printing a collection of tote bag designs.
This is a possibility...

The Dubious Salvation of Jack Viljee

I recently finished the cover for The Dubious Salvation of Jack Viljee by Jaques Strauss. The book is being published by Random House later this year.
"This is ostensibly the story of a boy with identity problems and a meditation of the rivalry between English and Afrikaans communities. With a winning combination of fabulous, enlivened writing, wit, insight, and truth, this is a very human story that never once preaches or gets bogged down in the weighty issues."
Read more about the book here.
