Shura Indecision

Shura asked me to re-work an old illustration for her new single Indecision.
This was really fun to work on and looks surprisingly like her (if she were to feature in Total Recall).
Look out for the limited edition vinyl version too.

Grace Print

I exhibited at the London Illustration Fair last weekend. Thanks to everyone who came down and bought my prints. Here is the Grace Jones one I made especially. Escher vibes.

American Horror Story: Freakshow

Just started watching the new series of American Horror Story. Loving Sarah Paulson's character, and Sarah in general, so I did a little drawing of Bette and Dot.

Little White Lies

One of my favourite magazines, Little White Lies, asked me to produce 5 surreal, portrait illustrations for their 55th issue, centred around 'Maps to the Stars' the new film by David Cronenberg.

My favourites to draw were film directors Mike Leigh and Pawel Pawlikowski.

Pelican Books

I was asked by London based clothing brand Super superficial to produce a T-shirt design for the re-launch of Pelican Books, the non-fiction branch of Penguin Books.

See the finished piece here.

Poking a Dead Frog (formally 'And here's the Kicker..')

I recently received my copy of the book 'Poking a Dead Frog: Conversations With Today's Top Comedy Writers' by Mike Sacks, with a bunch of my illustrations in it. So great to see it in print after working on it on and off for almost a year! Big thanks to Mike for the collaboration.

I've neglected this blog..

It's a lot easier for me to update my website these days so I'm kind of neglecting this blog a bit.
As there's not much point posting exactly the same pictures on here as I do on my website, I'm going to make this more of a 'work in progress' blog.

For up to date projects and commercial work my website is www.louisezpomeroy.com
